Aureliano G. Reyes Jr.'s Obituary
Our Beloved Aureliano G. Reyes Jr. went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2025.
Aureliano was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Aureliano and Velia Reyes, on December 28, 1948. He was one of four siblings. He grew up in San Antonio, Texas and it was here that he met and married Virginia Cuellar. Together they had two children.
Aureliano will always be remembered as a man strong in his faith and devotion to his family. He enjoyed attending mass at San Fernando Cathedral and loved going on adventures downtown. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was the sweetest, kindest and loving Father, Grandfather and friend. He was someone you could count on for advice, shoulder to lean on and would do what he could to help you. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed the holidays at his sister's house.
He is preceded in death by this wife, Virginia Cuellar. His parents, Aureliano G. Reyes and Velia Reyes. His brother, Alfredo Reyes, brother-in-law, David G. Saucedo, niece Janina Hurtado.
He is survived by his sisters, Raquel R. Saucedo, Velia (Edward) Hurtado. Daughter, Jennifer (Daniel) Garcia, and Peggy (Fernando). Son, Marcus P. Reyes. Grandchildren, Isaac Garcia, Alizae Flores, Ajanae Flores, Aviv K. Reyes, and Marcus P. Reyes, Jr. Numerous nieces and nephews: David (Veronica) Saucedo, Gina Y. Saucedo, Ludivina (Susan) Hurtado, Edward (Grace) Hurtado, Michael (Rénee) Hurtado. David R.A. Saucedo, Azareel Saucedo and extended family and friends.
