Aurelia P. Jimenez, born March 24, 1942, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Jourdanton, Texas at the age of 82. Aurelia is survived by her children, Maria Linda Gonzales, Damiano Garcia (Betty), Daniel P. Garcia, Brenda Garcia; grandchildren, Lori Groesbeck, Tracy Lee Gonzales, Diana Jo Gonzales, Priscilla G. Lopez, Amanda G. Aguilar, Rose-Anna Garcia, Rose-Maria Garcia, Derrick Santos, Miranda Santos, Evelyn Gonzales; and siblings, Simona Chapa, Jacinto Pena (Mary), Julian Pena, Rudy Pena (Anna). She is predeceased in death by husband, Jose Pablo Garcia, Sr.; children, Jose Pablo Garcia, Jr., Ricky Garcia, Fernando Garcia, Robert Lee Garcia, Diana Garcia, Rosie Garcia; sister, Rita Zamora; niece, Leticia Zamora; brothers, Frank Pena, Jose Carlos Pena, Tibruico Pena, Alfredo Pena, Raymond Pena, and Juan Pena. Aurelia was a devoted Catholic and always prioritized her family, especially during holidays. She was retired from Levi Strauss where she dedicated years of work. She also enjoyed trips to Coushatta Casino in Louisiana with her cousins, as well as loved Bingo and Loteria. Aurelia was a very high-spirited person and loved to dance and go shopping. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation for Aurelia will begin on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Camero Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. with funeral services to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Poteet, Texas.
