Arturo M. Cardenas' Obituary
Arturo M. Cardenas, born on July 22, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the age of 69 in Austin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Irene Cardenas; brothers, Santiago Jr, Arnulfo, Silvester, Oscar, and Benito Cardenas. Arturo is survived by his children, Stella Espinoza (Catalino), Alicia Mendoza, Arlene Cardenas, and Arturo Cardenas, Jr. (Priscilla); Ex Wife/Dear Friend Pauline Cardenas; Grandchildren, Catalino Jr., Isaiah, Jonathan, Jazlyn, Xavier, Sebastian, Desiree, Delilah, Elijah, Margie, Ernesto Jr., Alejandra, Marco & Angelina; 12 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Roberto Cardenas; sisters, Rebecca Asebedo (Robert), Florinda Galindo (Joe) and Ermelinda Vasquez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & other family members and friends. Arturo was deeply loved, he will be missed & remembered for his passion of singing and playing the guitar. Visitation will begin Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Camero Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Camero Funeral Home with burial to follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
