San Antonio, TX – Armando “Mando” Prado, Sr., 56, was called to the Lord on September 4, 2021. Mando was born on May 29, 1965, in Lubbock, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelo Samudio Prado, Sr. and Beatrice Cassiano Lopez; brothers, Marcelo F. Prado, Jesus F. Prado, and Vidal L. Mendoza; and sister, Esperanza A. Orozco.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Nancy Pachecano Prado; his only daughter, Linda Marie Prado-Garcia (Albert); his sons, Armando Prado, Jr. (Mary Daniela), Andrew Lee Prado (Jasmine), and Genaro H. Prado; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Christopher, John, Andrea, Ahniyah, Ahlayah, and Andrewlee; brothers, Benacio Prado (Esther) and David Prado (Tammy); sisters, Alicia Prado Rodriguez, Margarita Prado Gomez (Joel), Racheal Rivera and Lamar Villa; his extended in-laws, the Pachecano’s, the Rivera’s, the Rosenbaum’s, the Delgado’s, the Hilliary’s, and the Sanford’s; and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces; and by many other family members and friends.
Mando enjoyed grilling, golfing, watching his Cowboys, and WWE wrestling. He was a leader in his church, the Kingsborough Ridge Baptist Church.
A memorial service is scheduled on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Kingsborough Ridge Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX.
He will be deeply missed by his entire family.
