Antonia G. Casias' Obituary
San Antonio, TX — Antonia G. Casias, a long-time resident of the San Antonio area, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO with her family by her side. Born September 2, 1935 in Charlotte, TX, a daughter of the late Ignacio and Luisa Godinez. Antonia was a homemaker, a faithful member of her church and she loved reading her bible, laughing, crocheting, knitting, being with her family, having fun with friends and working outdoors. Antonia was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Antonia touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Benjamin Casias in 2013, her devoted son, Mario Albarado 2009; and many of her brothers and sisters. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; loving sister, Juana Samaniego of Charlotte, TX; adorning children, Juan G. Casias (Lupe), Valentine Casias (Rosa), Mary A. Casias (Blanca), Benjamin Casias, Jr., Isabel Duffy, Gloria Casias (Dante) and Yolanda Cantu (Danny), along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation and memorial service on Friday, October 7, 2016, at 9 am at the Camero Funeral Home, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Camero Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colorado Public Safety Chaplains, 1491 Northcrest Dr, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126, in honor of Antonia G. Casais.
