Angelita Short Garza's Obituary
Angelita Short Garza, born August 20, 1943 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on Friday January 11, 2019 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Garza was preceded in death by husband, Ernest B. Garza. She is survived by her daughter Anna Martinez and her husband Joe Martinez; step-sons Ernest Garza Jr. and his wife Laura Mae and Daniel Garza, and step-daughter Briana Garza; her precious grandchildren Regina Acosta, Christina Aguirre and her husband Bobby, Gabriella Stevens, Nathaniel Garza, Felicia Martinez and Sara Lopez and her husband Raul; great-grandchildren Ricardo Acosta, Isabella Acosta, Xavier Camacho, and Illiana Kye; sister Mary Lou Weber also numerous nephews, neices, other relatives and friends. She was an excellent seamstress. Her favorite passtime was socializing with family and friends. She enjoyed crafts and playing bingo. Working for the School For The Blind was one of her most fulfilling professions. She will be greatly missed by all whose life she touched. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Rosary Service at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the First Memorial Park Cemetery.
