Andrea C. Ricondo's Obituary
Andrea C. Ricondo, born May 18, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Antonio Carrasco and Maria Arevalo Carrasco went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the age of 77 years. She was preceded in death by her mom, Maria Carrasco. Mrs. Ricondo is survived by her husband of 59 years, Cosme Ricondo, Jr; her daughters Bernice Uresti (husband Daniel), Christine Ricondo, and Maria Ramirez (husband Ray); sons, Carlos Ricondo and Samuel Ricondo (wife Karyn); brothers, Fidel, Pedro, Antonio, and Ramon Carrasco and sisters, Maria (Tonia) Garcia, and Beatrice Trevino and their spouses, with whom she loved spending time with. She was also the best grandma to 13 grandchildren and their wonderful spouses, and 7 great grandchildren. She loved them dearly and they were her life. She made Christmas cookies each year with them and was always available for cooking advice. She had a large family which includes nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives, and many friends. Mrs. Ricondo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and friend to many. Special thanks to her friends at the Cortez Senior Center and to those who cared for her during her illness. She loved spending time with her family and was well known in the South San sports community who lovingly called her “Bobcat grandma.” She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sports activities and events. She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds who came into her yard. She was loving, kind, and caring to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home in Von Army, TX. A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
