Amalia R. Ramos' Obituary
Amalia R Ramos, born on April 19, 1934, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 91. Amalia was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker whose life was centered around her family. As a housewife, she poured her heart into caring for her loved ones and creating a warm, welcoming home. She found great joy in tending to her outdoor plants, taking pride in watching them grow and flourish under her care. Cooking for her family was one of her greatest pleasures, and her meals were a way she expressed love, bringing everyone together around the table.
Above all, Amalia was dedicated to taking care of her family. Her kindness, selflessness, and nurturing spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her gentle strength, her love for nature, and the deep care she showed to those around her.
Amalia’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends who loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Ramos Sr., grandson, James Anthony Ramos and brother Alejandro Ramirez.
Amalia is survived by her children, Arturo Ramos Jr., Estela Ramos, Alfredo Ramos, Sylvia Perez (Aurelio), Maria D. Ruiz (Richard), David Ramos (Melanie), Rose Zapata, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, located at 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211, on January 27, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. The service will be available via live stream at https://www.facebook.com/FDATrevinoPaloAlto/.
The funeral service will be conducted at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on January 28, 2026, at 10:00 am. This service will also be live streamed at the same URL.
The committal service will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
