Alfredo Ramos' Obituary
Alfredo Ramos Martinez, 83 years of age, of Lytle, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023. Alfredo was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Hilario Ramos Pena and Audelia (Martinez) Ramos. He dedicated his life to his beloved wife of 60 years, Eva (Dominguez) Ramos, and his 9 loving children.
Alfredo came from very humble beginnings and had minimal schooling. He brought his family to Texas back in 1974 and lived in various cities. They eventually settled in Lytle, Texas where his family flourished. He was an extremely hard worker and persevered no matter what obstacles came his way. He began his trade when he was 15 years old and took pride in his work as an Auto Body Repair and Auto Paint Man, for 50 plus years. His legacy of hard work and determination will live on with his family. He showed strength and fortitude till the end of his days. He loved baseball, fishing and cooking for his family and friends. Our Sunday gatherings of laughter, food and joy will never be the same.
He is preceded in death by his Parents Hilario and Audelia, Siblings Lucia, Graciela, Hilario, Luis, Faustino, Great Grandchild Martin Hernandez. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Eva Ramos, Children Alma (Pedro), Audelia (Andrew), Jose Alfredo (Esther), Mari (+Javier), Ramiro (Patricia), Marta (Bartolo), David (Irene) Veronica (Chris), Jessica (Carlos), 36 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, Siblings Fidencio, Maria, Gerardo, Hector and Bertha, numerous nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
