Alberto S. Gonzales' Obituary
Albert S. Gonzales passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023 and went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 82 years.
He is predeceased by his parents Albert T. Gonzales and Celia Rodriguez, siblings Consuelo Bergquist, Dolores Guenther, Carolina Gonzales, Alfred Gonzales, Frances Gonzales, Caroline Carpenter, his aunt Carolina Contreras, and great-grandchild Baby Jimenez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Annie Casanova Gonzales and lovingly remembered by four daughters Annette M. Amos, Audra A. Gonzales, Andrea Gonzales, and Annabel De Escobedo (Max Ramirez). Three grandchildren Krystal Jimenez (Nick), Aaron Rocamontes (Jessica), and Xavier Munoz. Seven great-grandchildren Adalynn, Serenity, Charlotte, and Natalie Jimenez; Josiah, Alexa, and Ezra Rocamontes. Siblings Ruth Carpenter Flores, Henry Martinez, Alice Mungia, Matilda Delgado, Adelina Valdez, Robert Gonzales, Rowena Falco, Maria Carol, Richard Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez, and Cynthia Cantu.
He served in the Navy for four years. He worked in Civil Service for 38 years at Kelly A.F.B. He was a city van driver for the Senior Center at St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church for 10 ten years. He served his church and community faithfully.
He was a wonderful husband, a dad, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather. Also he was a brother, an uncle, and a friend.

The Rosary is on Thursday, March 30 at Camero Funeral Home at City Base from 6:30 to 8:00pm, the mass is on Friday, March 31 at St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:30 to 10:30 am, burial at Fort Sam Cemetery, and gathering celebration of his life at Holy Name Catholic Church activity center at noon.
