Great grandparents Mary Maldonado, Mark Bennett and Lupe Clark, Lecodio and Yolanda Ibarra, and Don Davila. His two baby cousins Anais Gomez, Noah Gonzales and extended family members. At the gates of heaven welcoming Aiden to his new forever home were his great grandfather Jose P. Maldonado, GG-Grandparents David and Alicia Davila, cousin Faith Marie Ibarra and great aunts Janice Davila and Suzanne Perez, and great uncle Richard Ibarra. Our beloved Aiden James Maldonado was removed from life support at only 5 years old. Always a generous soul, Aiden's final act of goodwill was donating his organs before going on to rest. He was in Kindergarten at SWISD and enjoyed learning. He was a master negotiator, always trying to work things out in his favor, such as snacking on cookies before his meals or staying up later to play and so much more. He loved superheroes but Batman was his favorite. He loved LOVED swimming, robots, carving and decorating pumpkins (always ensuring the seeds were saved for his momma), playing dress up as a ghostbuster and other fun characters with Grandma-Ray. Aiden was recently working on perfecting his beatboxing, he danced and sang along to Michael Jackson’s Thriller or Swingin’ by John Anderson, he was so amazing! He adored his dog Zero and loved his night adventures with his flashlight looking for bugs and creepy crawlers with Sophia and Momma. He spent a lot of time playing with his aunt Sophia and going on adventures with his grandparents, and his beloved uncles. His favorite foods included his mommas Fidelo, chicken strips and his Pops’ cooking. But most of all, and above all his favorites, Aiden adored his momma and dadda. Aiden was so full of life, so full of happiness, energy and he loved to laugh. We are beyond grateful for the 5 years he gave us, the love he showed us, and the many lessons he taught us. Our love for him will remain forever and the memories he made in our hearts will be cherished until each of us meets our own end. The family of Aiden James Maldonado appreciates all the love and support given during one of the hardest times in our lives.
