Adela O. Rodriguez was called home to the Father's House on June 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 17, 1954, in Gonzales, Texas, to Antonio Ortiz and Pauline Sanchez Ortiz, who preceded her in death.
Adela is loved and will be missed by her husband, Sergio Rodriguez, Sr.; children, Sergio Rodriguez, Jr. (Dorian), Rodolfo Rodriguez; Andres Rodriguez (Dina) and Marie Ortiz. Adela has 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Her brothers Stevie, Antonio Jr. and sisters Annie Sylvia and Lorenza. She had many fur babies and never forgot the names to them.
Adela grew up in San Antonio, Tx where she went and Graduated from Edgewood High School, where she met Sergio and later married. Adela worked for Northside Independent School District for many years where she later retired from. Adela was a sports mom and would follow her children and grandchildren cheering for them at their games and events. Her favorite team and player was Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. She loved to crochet and make beanies, scarfs, booties, and much much more. She had an extensive collection of teddy bears and porcelain dolls. Adela loved to go sight seeing and take drives out to the country or where ever the road would take her. She enjoy watching Western shows on tv and loved to listen to her favorite country singer George Strait. She had many fur babies and never forgot the names to them. Adela has 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Her brothers Stevie, Antonio Jr. and sisters Annie Sylvia and Lorenza. She was truuly loved by many and will be deeply missed.
