Abelino Carrasco, Jr.'s Obituary
Abelino Carrasco Jr.
April 26, 1929 – August 10, 2015
Abelino Carrasco Jr., also known as Chore, was the second of twelve children born to Abelino Carrasco Sr. and Sara Carrasco on April 26, 1929. On June 4, 1950 he married Nicolasa Rodriguez, they shared 65 year of marriage. He is the father of six children, has eight grandchildren and has numerous great-grandchildren. He was devoted to his family and his faith. He is survived by his wife Nicolasa, son Robert Carrasco Sr. and his wife Janie, daughter Angie and her husband Dr. Juan Sanchez, daughter Pauline Valdez, son Charlie Carrasco, son Donisio Carrasco, and daughter Osanna Carrasco. He was preceded in death by his parents, and great-grandchildren Alyssa and Paul.
He will be remembered as always having a smile, hug or a good hand shake for his family and friends. He was a hard worker who volunteered his time and carpentry work to the Church where he will have his final mass. His faith in God was unwaivered and only grew stronger with age. We as a family find comfort that we were very fortunate for having him as our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, which is the greatest blessing to our family. He gave us love, laughter and most importantly faith, which has sustained us during difficult times. We should not mourn his death but rejoice that he is pain free and at peace; and remember the good memories – he would want that for us all.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude and thanks for the love, support, kind words and prayers to our family and friends.
