Shirley Gonzales
I remember when my daughter, Charity was about 3 years old, I used to affectionately call her "Darlin' ". One time, her aunt Janie heard me call her by this and she giggled and said," I get a kick out of how Shirley says, "darlin'". : ) We all smiled and laughed.
I believe that last time I saw Janie was when my other daughter, Amanda who was about 13 or 14 years old at the time had paid a visit to Janie's daughter, Gabby. She was living in an apartment and I had gone to pick up Amanda. I remember thinking that Janie was very gracious to let me into her apartment and spoke to me awhile even though her brother and I have been divorced for many years. After a small talk, she bid me goodbye and she told me, "we love you". That was Janie, she was an honest woman. She would speak her mind and she could speak the love in her heart, as well. We love you, too, Janie. I'm glad she drew nearer to the Lord. She would sometimes cross my mind and I would say a prayer for her.
.Goodbyes are never easy but I am saying "Goodbye, Janie." You will be missed in this world, but we will see you again in heaven, one day. There are much better days. I rejoice to know that you are happy in heaven with your family. My condolences to you and the Santa Cruz Family, Gabriela and Tony. God Bless you and may God keep you in his loving care.
I Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
